"If there is a lord in this universe it is certainly living in this Stereo Wet verb. Just gorgeous. Added the dark shimmer and it's the sound I have been looking for forever. Hadn't heard any clips or reviews on using this with an acoustic but it shines. I am using an old 64 martin acoustic with a sunrise and it's stunning. Thanks for the great verb and fast service." —Joe M., NC
Brian,
I finally got a break this afternoon and sat down with all 3 pedals. I use two 100 watt amps one running through 2 close/front loaded cabs with EV 12's. The other 100 watt amp running through a 2 X 12 open oval back with Celestion 65's. Both guitar amps are voiced differently which brings out the best tones when combing the two together. Playing live my favorite set up 2 amps voiced differently with the different speakers. The Chroma Stereo Chorus and Wet Stereo Reverb pedals are perfect for this set up. I usually use a Framptone amp switcher to be able to switch from one amp to the other amp, but 95% of the time I am running both together via the Framptone. The Chroma Stereo Chorus, very subtle, nice rich tone, clean tone on all 3 pedals, which I am a clean player. No swishing chorus just nice clean unadulterated tone, great pedal, I never over saturate the sound, the pedal sounds natural, in fact all 3 pedals do, sound like part of the amp(s). Great pedal, job well done. Nice rich tone. The Wet Reverb V3 pedal I used, of course mono, into each of the amps. What a great tone, very addictive to say the least, best 2 knob reverb pedal ever made, very, very addictive, what a tone treat this is one amazing pedal has it's own tone characteristics that are so luscious it just amazes me. After one of my client/endorsees brought the pedal to try with one of my custom guitars I finished for him it immediately captivated me. The V3 did not disappoint. I don't know of anything or have heard anything that does what this does or even comes close. This will definitely be a great pedal for a one amp combo that I will be utilizing to demo my guitars. The Wet Stereo Reverb pedal, knocked my socks off running with the 2 amp set up. More flexibility then I was expecting. Clean, sparkling, dazzling sound, everyone stopped to come in to see what I was playing and were also taking back by the tone. If there was one word to describe this pedal WICKED would be it. The Framptone has a ground lift, which I do use to eliminate unwanted hum. I did not use the Framptone listening to your pedals. Both stereo pedals had no issues/unwanted grounding hum. You are making some great pedals. It is good to see someone stepping outside the box and doing something so unique and amazing. My compliments to the chef, these are definitely pedals to be reckoned with and a must have for any connoisseur with good taste. A job well done. I definitely would recommend these pedals without reservation to my clients/endorsees, the Chroma Chorus has a very refined tone, the mono and stereo Wet Reverb pedals are insane. Thanks for producing such a great product, in my opinion second to none, these are the real deal. Sincerely, Larry Wysocki Wysocki Custom Guitars
"I'll try to keep this brief, but I wanted to let you know how much I'm digging the WET pedal. I'm a long time Fender 6G15 external unit into a tweed era Fenders (5E3, 5F4 & 5e7) user and I'm making the external unit the backup in favor of the WET. To my ears, the WET pedal does everything the 6G15 does and all the things I wish the 6G15 could/would do very well. Big hallish reverbs, springy surfy reverbs, trashy short reverbs, slapback type echoes and subtle room reverbs all with 2 knobs. Add in the buffered output and long battery life, genius! Like the 6G15, the WET sounds and feels like it's part of the amp circuit. I keep a POS solid state Fender DSP/modeling amp (that I hate) at our rehearsal space and tried the WET in front of it at rehearsal earlier this week. I actually dug the tone and had fun playing through the amp for the first time. Awesome product, thank you!" —Tommy, TX
"The pedal is magnificent. I can hardly believe the sounds it can create. Well done and thank you for this great product." —Johnny, TX "...it was with a mix of excitement and skepticism that I received my WET reverb pedal... but it turns out this may well be the best 200$ I have ever spent on a pedal. It's that good. This box has it all. Small footprint, check. Works with regular 9v power supply, check. Simple and effective controls, check. Great tone, check. Interesting soundscaping possibilities, check. This pedal was obviously designed by someone who has real musical taste. There are a lot of gizmo pedals out there that can turn cool tricks, but for most working musicians, the most important thing is to get tools that compliment your tone and help to give it depth. This is the sort of pedal that can (and probably should) be used in a wide variety of musical contexts. I own several vintage Fender amps, and most of them don't have reverb. I wanted a pedal that has a very natural sound, something reminiscent of the old Blackface reverb. So the first thing I did is patch my WET pedal between my 1955 Fender D8 Stringmaster Steel console and a 1966 Fender Champ. Right on. Having the depth control is really helpful, as you can tweak your sound to get the exact size of reverb you need. This is something that you can't control on Fender amps that come with their own reverb. With a few quick adjustments, I was able to go from a subtle and tasty vintage reverb to a massive ambient pad with infinite sustain. That's the feature that sold me on the pedal initially. As a producer, I do a lot of soundscaping and soundtracks, and it's really useful to have this kind of possibility. In fact, I think I'm going to have this pedal within reach when I play steel so that I can adjust the depth knob on the fly. For this sort of thing, I would usually use an infinite delay patch on my Eventide Time Factor. The cool thing with the WET pedal is that even at the maximum depth setting, the pedal doesn't overload on itself, it just sustains whatever you throw at it in a very musical and balanced manner, creating a beautiful atmospheric pad. It just feels great to get a piece of equipment that does everything you need, no more no less. Thanks Brian for a wonderful piece of gear!" —Alex, Canada "Just a quick line to let you know the pedal arrived yesterday. The sound is wonderful and the pedal lives up to all the accolades it gets online. Thanks for your great service." —Kim, Canada "Hi Brian, I wanted to let you know that I received my pedal. I'm using it in the loop of a Bludodrive amp (a Dumble clone) and it sounds outstanding! This is the best reverb pedal I've ever tried, and I am extremely pleased with it. Also, your customer service is excellent. Thanks." —Steven, VA "Despite several attempts by the post office not to deliver my pedal, Brian has been excellent with communication and has by far exceeded my expectations for customer support. His service is the example of what customer service should be. As for the pedal, The WET Reverb is exactly what a reverb pedal should be. Awesome sound, awesome service." —Zach, TN "Got my Black WET reverb today and it is absolutely awesome!! Just wanted to let you know. It surpasses all my expectations so I'm very happy that I made this purchase. I thank you for making such a great product." —Otto, Denmark "I received my pedal today and it sounds fantastic so far! I like the nearly infinite decay a lot, thanks for some nice improvements on an already great sounding pedal." —Jason, MN "The pedal is in and I've been playing it with all my instruments for 6 hours continuously. Can't stop. Now that I have the chance to play it with my own instruments, I can see the true dimension of it's possibilities. It's become best friends with my open-tuning Lowden guitar and with mandolin and I'm sure it'll make more best friends shortly. Superb! Absolutely great!" —Marc, Netherlands "Really dig this pedal. I especially like the ambient effect with the mix and depth around 3 o'clock. I've been looking for a pedal that does smooth extended ambient tones like this for quite a while." —Jeff, TX "Hey Brian, The Wet arrived about 5 hours ago and I’ve been playing it steady ever since. I dig it man, thanks a bunch." —Brandon, WI "INCREDIBLE!!! I cannot express how pleased I am with this product. It not only adds rich, beautiful, organic verb to my tone but actually warms and fattens the sound of my guitar. I am glad I waited for this. Thanks." —Rick, CA "Got it today. This is a fantastic reverb! Worth the wait. So simple to use, no messing up of the dry sound, just a great musical sounding reverb in a simple little pedal. Thanks!" —Matt, PA "Wow! Not too often that a product—especially a guitar pedal—exceeds every expectation. For a little black box with two knobs the WET is unbelievable. I won't be dragging my Eclipse along for reverbs after today." —John, NJ "Pedal of the Day: WET by Neunaber. VERY Blackface, VERY usable, and a pedal I've used a bunch lately..." —Doug Doppler "Hi Brian, thanks for the quick shipping. That's an amazing pedal! It makes me want to play longer. Finally someone with good ears made a reverb pedal. Well done! I've played it for a bunch of people who were all blown away." —Ben "I am a professional pedal steel player, and I use Fender Silverface Bassman 135 amps─all tube with no reverb. I must tell you that your WET Reverb is the finest effects pedal I have ever used! I have a shelf full of stomp boxes and rack units that are half-assed attempts at reproducing a true reverb sound, but you have done it! This unit sounds so real I can't believe my ears. Even my wife heard the difference! Great job engineering this pedal; it is worth every cent." —Marty, CA "I’ve been using the pedal for about a month now... Your reverb effect is quite musical, doesn’t muddy up the signal, and the controls make it easy to dial in different moods. A very pleasant and natural-sounding reverb, without the 'doink' of a simulated spring." —Russell, WA "I am blown away by the sound of this thing! Great sound and well built! Thanks!" —Ryan, PA "Sounds better than any reverb device I've heard or used before without any unwanted changes. My old Lexicon sure added a nice hall-dimension but it never seemed to mix completely with the guitar and amp. Your reverb definitely sounds more organic." —Wim, The Netherlands Also, check out the reviews at www.thegearpage.net: |
